APL Dog of the Week

Hi! I’m Kerrigan! And I came to APL a ball full of mattes. I wanted to show my personality but was held back by all the fur. After a day at the spa, I came back a new dog with a new outlook on life! I am a funny, calm and loyal dog! I enjoy long walks, scratches behind my ears and just generally being a dog! I am a terrier mix – but even I’m not sure what kind! I’m long and lean with bushy fur when it gets out of hand! I am working on my manners here at APL (although it’s easy for me to catch on) and I’m almost totally housebroken. All I’m looking for is my new best friends! Best friends that will be my forever family. Are you my forever family?

APL Cat of the Week

Greetings to all, I am the cat formerly called Queen Elizabeth the Third. Having found the demands from my feline subjects to be overwhelming, I have abdicated my crown. Now I'm looking for a quiet place to retire and looking forward to spending time with someone special. We can sit together while you watch TV, read, or watch a sunset. It's OK if you have another cat although I can be bullied rather easily. That’s why I gave up my crown. When you come to introduce yourself, please do so properly by letting me smell your hand. Then you can pet me and rub my head. If I'm happy to meet you, I'll roll onto my back and give you my irresistible look. That tells you I've chosen you as my someone special to take me home.
