Virtual Christmas in July Fundraiser
APL's Christmas in July has been made VIRTUAL! This is a fun way to take your mind off the summer heat, quarantine, and help out sick and injured, homeless animals at the same time.
Cool Down with Dogs
Make a BIG SPLASH for homeless animals by participating in our Cool Down for Dogs Event and donate to watch your favorite celebrity "dunkled!" Our celebrities are raising money for homeless animals and you can help! The celebrity that raises the most money will be crowned our 2021 Coolest Dog! Click on the celebrity's name you would like to see dunked and it will take you straight to their Facebook fundraising page where you can donate. All money raised goes directly to care for the animals at APL!

Pet Costume Contest
See the entries in our Christmas themed Pet Costume Contest with an award given for the pet who best represents the Christmas spirit! It is $10 to enter and all the proceeds benefit the dogs and cats in the shelter. All entries can be viewed on our website too so we can all enjoy the adorable pets in costume! You can register online here.
Cats in Hats Adoption Special
What would Christmas be without giving our special animals a home for the holidays! With our Cats in Hats Special, which will run all month long, you can adopt an adult cat for FREE or $25! Just look for the Elf or Santa hat on their cage when you make an appointment and visit all our great cats that need a home.
Kringle's Kittens
You can also meet over 50 kittens at our Kringle's Kittens event July 19th and 25th and adopt one for 50% off! That's only $25! Our Mobile Adoption Unit will be at Petsmart from noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. You can fill out an application to be pre-approved here. All animals adopted from APL have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped by the time of their adoption. That is a minimum $395 value!
