Volunteer Orientation Dates

Due to the Covid-19 Outbreak all New Volunteer Orientations will be held one on one or over the phone. Sign up for an orientation by filling out the form below.  Our Volunteer Coordinator, Mary will then contact you to arrange your orientation.

Volunteer experiences include dog walking, cleaning, cat & dog socialization, pet therapy visits, office work, humane education, adoption events, fundraising and much more!

Volunteers under 16 years old must volunteer with a parent or legal guardian, and all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to orientations and trainings. 

​

Orientations are located at the APL at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. Each session lasts about 30 minutes.
