Remember Me Thursday

Join us for a benefit concert Thursday, September 24th as part of the global Remember Me Thursday® campaign to raise awareness of the number of animals waiting for adoption in shelters and in memory of those who never knew a loving home.

The virtual concert will begin at 6:00p.m. on Facebook Live! The concert will feature many local talents and artists, including the A Quartet from Lincoln Land Choir, Johnathan Len, Ian Wick from the Shenanigans, and For the Love of Lennon. Tickets are $15 which includes an invite to the special Facebook Group where the Facebook Live event will take place. Tickets are available here.

Now in its eighth year, Remember Me Thursday® aims to unite individuals and pet adoption organizations around the world to be an unstoppable, integrated voice for orphan pets in need of forever homes. In the previous six years of the campaign, 180 countries supported the movement with hundreds of thousands of individuals and more than 700 separate animal welfare organizations around the globe participating. Candles are lit around the globe on the same day to remember the millions of animals who die in shelters or on the streets without ever knowing the security and love of a permanent home.  They are also lit to light the way for the millions of animals currently in shelters waiting to be adopted.
