Spay/Neuter Appointments

New appointments open every other Tuesday at 9am
Appointments fill VERY quickly. When all appointments are full, the online schedule will close until the next schedule-opening date.

Dog Appointment Information
Dog appointments are very limited. For time being, we are prioritizing low-income dog owners who receive food stamps and/or disability benefits. If you are facing financial hardship and do not receive these benefits, please call us to discuss.
If you receive food stamps or disability benefits:
- Please fill out an appointment request HERE and we will follow up with you, generally on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- You may also book online on one of the Tuesdays that the schedule opens.
- A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits are refundable only if the appointment is canceled at least 1 business day in advance. Deposits will be forfeited in the event you no-show for your appointment
For all other dog owners:

Appointments, when available, can be booked online on one of the Tuesdays that the online schedule opens (dates above).

Limit of 2 dogs per household per month.

Cat Appointment Information

All friendly cats require an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted for tame cats, regardless of ownership status.

Limit of 3 cats per household per week.

Prepayment is required when booking 3 cats for the same day.

Please see your full-service vet for specialty cat breeds (purebred Persian, Himalayan, Maine Coon, Siamese, Bengal, etc).
Got Outdoor Cats?

Friendly outdoor cats (tame, pettable, can be placed in a carrier) should be scheduled online.

We're booking ~1-2 weeks out. Call if cats are pregnant and can't wait that long.

For feral cats who will need to be trapped, please call our office (217-789-7729) to be placed on a list for walk-in opportunities.

M-Th walk-ins for feral cats will resume in a few weeks.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy
If you cannot make it to your appointment, PLEASE let us know at least 2 business days in advance so that we can fill your appointment with another needy pet. Prepayments will be required for all clients with prior no-show appointments.
