Appointment Information

Our shelter and clinic were destroyed in a tornado on June 10th. We are working to rebuild as quickly as possible. At this time, we are performing cat surgeries in a mobile surgery unit, very graciously provided to us by Fido Fixers. We are operating in a very limited capacity by appointment only. All surgery appointments are limited to Sangamon County residents at this time. Appointments will open more widely when our surgical capacity expands.

A small number of cat appointments will be available 3 days a week.

We are not yet able to take appointments for dogs - please check back.

Please contact us via text at 217-789-7729 if your cat or dog is pregnant and needs to be spayed ASAP.

New cat appointments will open to Sangamon County residents every Tuesday at 9am (see online scheduling applet below). Appointments will fill very quickly. A $30 deposit is required at time of booking.

Cat Appointment Information

Appointments required.
Sangamon County residents only at this time.
A $30 deposit is required at time of booking. This deposit is refundable only if you cancel your appointment 2 business days in advance of the appointment. If you no-show for your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit and it will be converted into a donation.
Limit of 3 cats per household per month.
Please see your full-service vet for specialty cat breeds (Persian, Himalayan, Maine Coon, Siamese, Bengal, etc).
If you need to trap feral cats who you cannot predictably keep appointments for, please contact us via text at 217-789-7729 prior to booking.

Dog Appointment Information

We are not accepting dog appointments at this time. We may occasionally have the opportunity to spay/neuter some dogs on short notice.

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

If you cannot make it to your appointment, PLEASE let us know at least 2 business days in advance so that we can fill your appointment with another needy pet. Prepayments will be required for all clients with prior no-show appointments. Deposits will be forfeited for no-show appointments.
