Chicken Dinner Fundraiser
Get a great meal for an even better cause! We are on a mission to sell 1,000 chicken and vegetarian dinners by September 3rd to support our recovery efforts! Will you order a meal today?
Thank you to Nelson's Catering for donating 1,000 complimentary chicken and vegetarian dinners for us to sell to raise money to support APL's recovery efforts following the tornado that destroyed our shelter and clinic on June 10th, 2026. Now we need your help! Will you order some delicious meals to help cats and dogs that rely on APL?

All meals are ONLY $15 and all proceeds will go toward APL! A Chicken dinner is a half of a grilled chicken, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy, southern-style green beans, and a dinner roll with butter. A vegetarian dinner is a meatless lasagna with vegetarian green beans and a garlic bread stick! Now THAT is a great deal.
Pre-orders can be made now through September 3rd, 2026. Curbside pick up will be on September 10th from 3:30PM-6:30PM at the Commodities Pavilion at the IL State Fairgrounds. Order now and order many!
