Amber is 2.5 years old! She was adopted from APL and
I happened to be her 3rd and furever July 2018. Now Amber has numerous titles: AKC Trick performer, AKC Rally Expert, CGCA and TDI. I'm excited to enter her in the Christmas in July because I'm incorporating her tricks into "Amber's Christmas Story" for AKC Elite Performer. We hope to be ready before October. I can see she's not thrilled about the costume but sure loves the attention that her tricks provided.
Amber sounds like a super star. It's amazing how much you've accomplished with her in such a short time. The Christmas in July event sounds like a lot of fun, and incorporating her tricks into a Christmas story is such a creative idea. I bet the audience will love it. It's funny how some dogs just tolerate the costumes for the love of the attention, I can totally relate! We have a similar thing going on with our cat. It's almost like you need crazy cattle 3d to animate their reaction sometimes, lol! Good luck with your preparations, I'm sure Amber will shine!
